A 39-year-old man was found shot dead inside a south suburban Park Forest home Friday evening.

At 5:45 p.m., police responded to a call of shots fired inside a home in the 200 block of Arcadia Street and found Jason McCullough unresponsive with at least one gunshot wound, according to a statement from Park Forest police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe the shooting “stemmed from a dispute between two people known to each other, and is not a random crime.”

Investigators are searching for a suspect who is no longer believed to be in the Park Forest area, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Park Forest Police Department Investigations Unit at (708) 748-1309.
