A 48-year-old man is facing charges for stabbing and robbing another man in northwest Indiana.

Christopher Anderson, of Gary, was charged with robbery, battery by means of a deadly weapon, criminal confinement and theft, according to a statement from Gary police.

On Nov. 1, Anderson stabbed and robbed a man in the 3700 block of Jackson Street, police said. He is not in custody.
