Police are warning residents of home burglaries in the last two weeks in the Bridgeport, McKinley Park and Back of the Yards neighborhoods on the South Side.

The burglaries occurred during the afternoon hours:

  • Feb. 1 in the 2900 block of South Throop Street;
  • Feb. 5 in the 5000 block of South Winchester Avenue; and
  • Feb. 8 in the 3600 block of South Damen Avenue.

The suspect or suspects entered the homes and took items, police said.
