A man was shot Tuesday in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

The 28-year-old man was walking in the 6700 block of South East End around 9:25 p.m. when a silver SUV pulled up and someone got out and fired shots before fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the groin, left arm and back and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
