Chicago Police are warning residents of two recent armed robberies on the Near North Side.

The robberies, both of which occurred in the early morning hours, happened March 5 in the 200 block of West Grand Avenue and March 13 in the 1400 block of North Halsted Avenue, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

In each robbery, two to three men approach a victim, pull out a gun and demand their property, police said. The robbers are described as black men between 20 to 30 years old.

Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to contact Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8382.
