Long snapper Aaron Brewer reunited with his old head coach and position coach Wednesday, agreeing to a one-year contract with the Bears.

Brewer played for John Fox and special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers during his four years in Denver. An undrafted free agent out of San Diego State, Brewer had eight special teams tackles during his Denver career.

The 6-5, 230-pounder would seem to have an edge over Patrick Scales, who ended the season as the team’s snapper.
