Police are warning cab drivers about a series of armed robberies just a block apart last month in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
Three cab drivers were robbed between Feb. 12-18 in the 6600 block of South Honore Street and the 6600 block of South Wolcott Avenue, according to an alert from Chicago Police.
In each incident, the cabs arrived at locations within those two blocks and the drivers were robbed at gunpoint, police said.
The two suspects are described as black men 20 to 35, between 5-foot-7 and 6-foot, and 160-200 pounds, according to police. They have black hair, medium to dark complexions, and wore black hooded sweatshirts and masks.
Anyone with information should call Area South detectives at (312) 747-8273.
