Man shot in Auburn Gresham

A man was shot late Wednesday in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

The 23-year-old man was standing outside in the 600 block of West 80th at 11:15 p.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the leg and groin and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
