A woman was shot in the Rogers Park neighborhood early Monday on the North Side.

The 50-year-old woman told investigators she was walking in the 6400 block of North Magnolia about 2 a.m. when she heard gunfire and was shot in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

More than two hours later, she walked into Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
