Chicago Police are warning South Side residents after two armed robberies were reported last week on the same block in the Calumet Heights neighborhood.

Two males approached the victims and robbed them at gunpoint in the 8900 block of South Paxton, according to the community alert from Area South detectives.

The first robbery happened about 3:50 a.m. April 27, and the second at 11:43 p.m. April 28, police said.

One of the suspects was described as a black man 30-40, about 6-foot and 180 pounds with medium complexion. The second was described as a black male about 5-foot-8.
