Man missing from Beverly

Police are looking for a 62-year-old man missing from the Beverly neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Bart Bates was last seen in the 8800 block of South Leavitt on Thursday, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Bates is described as a 5-foot-7, 175-pound white man with hazel eyes, gray hair and medium complexion, police said. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, gray T-shirt, tan shoes and a brown jacket with a hood.

He was driving a black 2010 Honda utility vehicle with an Illinois license plate of L577311 which expires in October, according to police.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call the Area South Special Victims Unit at (312) 747-8274.
