A man was critically injured in a South Chicago neighborhood shooting early Thursday.

About 1:40 a.m., the 24-year-old was sitting in the driver seat of a car parked in the 8100 block of South Oglesby when someone walked up and opened fire, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
