A woman died Monday after she was stabbed in the chest in south suburban Riverdale.

Keianna Paul, 19, was fatally stabbed in the 14100 block of South Dearborn Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Paul lives on that same block, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where she died Monday at 10:11 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

An autopsy Tuesday found Paul died of a stab wound to the chest and ruled her death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.

A Riverdale police representative declined to give further information Tuesday evening.
