White Sox pitcher Chris Sale gives up rare three hits to a lefty

White Sox pitcher Chris Sale wasn’t on his game, and he still had seven strikeouts against the Boston Red Sox on Thursday.

The White Sox ace had two rarities happen: he gave up seven runs, the most since April 30, and allowed a lefty batter to record three hits. Sale has given up four or more runs in six of his 19 starts, but he’s allowed three hits to a lefty in just two games this season.
