Man shot in Ukrainian Village

A man was shot in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood Tuesday night on the West Side.

The 25-year-old was walking on the sidewalk in the 2300 block of West Chicago Avenue at 11:41 p.m. when someone began shooting from a light-colored sedan, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the chest, left wrist and right armpit and was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
