A man was shot in the foot Thursday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 23-year-old was in the 1200 block of West 70th Street about 10:15 a.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He showed up at St. Bernard Hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot, police said.
