A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Friday afternoon in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side.

The 22-year-old was shot in his right thigh at 12:07 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Chappel when someone in a passing vehicle fired shots, according to Chicago Police. He was being uncooperative with investigators, and refused to provide a description of the vehicle or shooter.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
