Man shot on West Side

A man was wounded in a shooting early Thursday on the West Side.

The 27-year-old was standing on the street at 12:35 a.m. in the 2700 block of West Madison when a male walked up and shot at him, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left leg, police said. His condition was stabilized.
