A man was shot in the groin during an East Garfield Park neighborhood drive-by attack early Saturday on the West Side.

The 36-year-old was walking in the 3800 block of West Gladys about 1 a.m. when a dark-colored car pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to Stroger Hospital and his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody for the shooting, which was considered gang-related.
