A man was seriously injured in a construction accident Thursday morning on the Near West Side.

The construction worker fell from the fourth floor to the first floor of a building in the 1400 block of West 15th Street, Fire Media Affairs reported on Twitter at 9:10 a.m.

The man, whose exact age was not immediately available, was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, according to Fire Media.
