An 18-year-old man was shot Saturday evening in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

At 6:16 p.m., the man was shot in the right hand in the 8000 block of South Halsted Street, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition was stabilized, police said.
