A 26-year-old man was shot Saturday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

At 4:24 p.m., the man was shot in the back in the 500 block of North Springfield Avenue when a black sedan pulled up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
