A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 24-year-old was standing outside about 9:40 p.m. in the 100 block of North Keeler when a vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots in his direction, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said.

The 30-year-old man, and the woman, 31, were in a car about 2:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of North Cicero Avenue when someone in another car fired shots.
Firefighters responded to the fire, which broke out in an apartment on the top floor of a building in the 2400 block of East 78th Street around 2:30 a.m.
According to Chicago police, the building in the 3100 block of South Green Street caught fire when someone threw an incendiary device through the window around 2:20 a.m.
