A man was shot Friday night in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 18-year-old was walking about 8 p.m. in the 4000 block of South Kedzie when he heard shots and felt pain, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. His condition had stabilized.
