16-year-old boy grazed by bullet in Austin

A teenage boy was grazed by a bullet Saturday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 16-year-old was walking about 3:55 p.m. in the 5000 block of West Harrison when a group of males walked up and at least one fired shots, according to Chicago Police. After feeling pain in his arm, the boy ran to the 4700 block of West Gladys and called for medical attention.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition with a graze wound to his right arm, police said.
