A man was shot dead Monday evening in the South Side Fuller Park neighborhood.

Officers found John Harris, 34, in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the neck shortly before 5 p.m. in the 4700 block of South Princeton, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Harris was pronounced dead on the scene, authorities said. He lived in the Englewood neighborhood.

No one was in custody. Area Central detectives were investigating,
