A man was wounded in a shooting Saturday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 25-year-old was shot in his lower left leg about 3:30 p.m. in the 5200 block of West Harrison Street, according to Chicago police. He was walking when an unknown shooter, possibly inside a moving vehicle, fired shots.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was in good condition, police said.

Area North detectives were investigating.
