A 17-year-old boy was found shot to death Thursday evening in a West Side Austin neighborhood home.

Officers found Rhomel L. Wellington about 8:45 p.m. at the home in the 600 block of North Laramie, Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

Wellington, who lived in west suburban Cicero, had a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said..
