A man was shot early Saturday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 21-year-old was walking on a sidewalk at 12:01 a.m. in the 1400 block of South Kenneth when another male walked up and fired shots, according to Chicago Police. He suffered gunshot wounds to his buttocks and right leg, as well as a graze wound to the head.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area Central detectives were investigating the shooting.
