Man dies after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in Gary

A man died early Saturday after being shot multiple times in northwest Indiana.

Authorities responded at 12:53 a.m. to the 600 block of Maryland Street to investigate the death of 20-year-old Devin Coleman Jr., according to the Lake County Coroner’s Office.

Coleman, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was pronounced dead at 1:31 a.m., the coroner’s office said. His death was ruled a homicide.
