Two men died Sunday afternoon at a mobile home fire in northwest Indiana.
Fire crews responded about 1 p.m. to the fire at the mobile home in the first block of Wilson Court in Liberty Township, according to the Porter County Coroner’s Office.
After the fire was struck out, authorities found 53-year-old Scott Wolford and 86-year-old Sam Wolford dead near the rear of the home, the coroner’s office said.
Autopsies found they both died from asphyxiation, the coroner’s office said. They also suffered thermal injuries.
An investigation was ongoing.
