A body was discovered Wednesday afternoon in the Lincoln Park Lagoon, police said.

The male’s body was recovered from the water about 1:15 p.m. near the 2400 block of North Cannon Drive, according to Chicago Police. Area North detectives were conducting a death investigation.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released information about the death.
