A 4-month-old boy has been found safely after he was reported missing for more than a month.

Nihmar Smith was last seen on Feb. 28 and was the subject of a child protection warrant issued March 1, Chicago police said. He was missing from Austin on the West Side.

Nihmar was located safe on Sunday, police said.

A police spokesperson said that charges were not pending against anyone in the case.
