The last two Eastern Conference champions and the Blackhawks’ biggest rival will come to the United Center for preseason games in September.

The Hawks announced the schedule — which, as usual, includes only cross-conference opponents and features one home and one away game against each — on Tuesday.

The Hawks will also face Eisbaren Berlin of the DEL in Germany prior to opening the regular season against the Flyers in Prague. Considering the Berlin game is scheduled just one day after a game in Boston, the team will need to get creative with the casts of players sent to each destination.

There should be a number of decisions to make during the preseason, with the defense likely overcrowded with options and some newcomers to slot into the bottom-six forwards, too.

The full preseason schedule is below:

Monday, Sept. 16: away vs. Capitals

Tuesday, Sept. 17: away vs. Red Wings

Wednesday, Sept. 18: home vs. Red Wings

Saturday, Sept. 21: home vs. Bruins

Wednesday, Sept. 25: home vs. Capitals

Saturday, Sept. 28: away vs. Bruins

Sunday, Sept. 29: away vs. Eisbaren Berlin
