A 20-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday in Albany Park.

Officials found Piotr Baliczek in a vehicle about 6:29 a.m. in the 4300 block of North Mozart Street with a gunshot wound to the neck, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He was pronounced on the scene.

Circumstances of the shooting are unclear as there are no witness reports, authorities said. An autopsy conducted Sunday found he Baliczek died of a gunshot wound to the head, and his death was ruled a homicide.

Area North detectives are investigating.
