While it won’t be like any NFL draft the league has conducted before, the show will go on Thursday through Saturday with teams operating remotely from their homes. All 255 picks will be made over the course of seven rounds, hopefully in a smooth fashion thanks to modern technology.

The Bengals, coming off a two-win season, will hope to turn their franchise around with the No. 1 pick in the draft. Everyone expects them to take LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, who torched the record books in his lone season with the Tigers.

The Redskins, Lions, Giants and Dolphins round out the top five, which brings a good deal of intrigue over when the next QB will be taken. Washington, Detroit and New York don’t have an immediate need at the position. Would the Dolphins or Chargers (who pick sixth) be willing to trade up to get their guy?

The main two targets will be Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa and Oregon’s Justin Herbert, although Utah State’s Jordan Love remains another possibility in the first round.

Other top prospects include Ohio State pass rusher Chase Young and cornerback Jeff Okudah, Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons, Iowa offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs and a stacked class of receivers including Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III.
