Corey Crawford wasn’t selected as an All-Star this year, but he’s playing like one Tuesday night.

Crawford preserved a 2-1 Blackhawks lead in the third period as he made five consecutive saves on one sequence against Colorado.

Andrew Desjardins even got a save in.

The Avalanche had just eight shots through the first two periods, but they came out firing in the third with eight shots through the period’s first four minutes.

Richard Panik and Artemi Panarin each scored in the first period to build an early 2-0 lead.
