Man found stabbed to death in Englewood garage

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The 13-year-old was shot in the abdomen.

Police are investigating the death of a man found stabbed Friday in Englewood on the South Side.

Harden B. Davis, 53, was found unresponsive in a garage about 1:45 a.m., Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Emergency responders gave him CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene in the 1300 block of West 61st Street, police said. He had a stab wound in his chest.

An autopsy ruled Davis’ death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said. Area South detectives are investigating.
