Police are warning residents after several garage burglaries were reported this month in Brighton Park on the Southwest Side.

In each case, someone broke into garages and took property from inside, Chicago police said in a community alert

The burglaries happened:

• At 1:55 a.m. Aug. 4 in the 4500 block of South Richmond Street

• At 9:30 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 4500 block of South Washtenaw Avenue

• Between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 4500 block of South Whipple Street

A description of any suspects wasn’t available.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8382.
