A man was hospitalized Sunday after a hit-and-run accident in River North.

The man, 51, was struck by a green Toyota Camry about 4:40 a.m. in the first block of West Illinois Street, Chicago police said. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where his condition was stabilized.

The Camry fled eastbound on Hubbard Street, police said.
