Two men were stabbed after someone started attacking people on the sidewalk Thursday in East Garfield Park on the West Side, police said.
About 9 p.m., a male on the sidewalk in the 500 block of South Pulaski Road pulled out a “sharp object” and started stabbing people around him, according to Chicago police.
A 21-year-old man was lacerated on the arm and taken to Stroger hospital, police said. Another man, 37, was lacerated on the abdomen and took himself to the same hospital. Both of their conditions were stabilized.
The suspected attacker ran off, and a motive was unclear, police said. Area North detectives are investigating.
