Three garages were burglarized in Feb. 2020, in Norwood Park and Edison Park on the Northwest Side.

Three garages were burglarized in Feb. 2020 in Norwood Park and Edison Park on the Northwest Side.

In each incident, someone broke into garages and stole snow blowers, tools and construction equipment, Chicago police said in a community alert. A male and female driving a light-colored minivan were seen trying to open garage doors Feb. 17 in the 6300 block of North Normandy Avenue.

The burglaries happened:

  • Between 8 p.m. Feb. 12 and 5 a.m. Feb. 13 in the 7200 block of West Ibsen Street;
  • Between 9 p.m. Feb. 18 and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 19 in the 5800 block of North East Circle Avenue; and
  • Between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Feb. 18 in the 5900 block of North Nina Avenue.
