A man was fatally shot Sunday in south suburban Markham.

Jabriell Jones, 19, was shot in the head about 7:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of Willow Lane, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Jones, of Posen, was pronounced dead at 6:31 p.m. Tuesday, the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide.

Markham police did not immediately respond to a request for details on the shooting.
