Man shot in East Chatham by gunman wearing clown mask and white latex gloves

The attack happened around 4 a.m. in the 900 block of East 83rd Street, police said.

A man wearing a clown mask and white latex gloves walked up to another man in East Chatham and shot him in the leg early Tuesday.

The attack happened around 4 a.m. in the 900 block of East 83rd Street, police said.

The victim, 34, was driven by a friend to South Shore Hospital, where he was in fair condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
