Girl, 14, suffers graze wound to the head in Little Village shooting

The girl was shot Wednesday in the 2200 block of South Albany Avenue.

A male was fatally shot after attacking a security guard Sept. 5, 2022, outside a Greektown business.

A 14-year-old girl was shot May 19, 2021 in Little Village.

The girl was sitting in a car about 1:50 a.m. in the 2200 block of South Albany Avenue when someone fired shots, Chicago police said.

She suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken to Hinsdale Hospital by her family, police said. She was later transferred in good condition to Loyola University Medical Center in Hines.

No one was in custody, police said.
