Details about the Kristin Cavallari-Jay Cutler divorce are trickling out, at least according to one report Thursday.
A story on pagesix.com alleges that Cavallari increasingly found Cutler to be “lazy” and “unmotivated,” as her Uncommon James business and “Very Cavallari” reality show took off.
According to the story, Cutler preferred just hanging out on the family farm with their three children. ESPN and CBS have reportedly been courting the former Chicago Bears quarterback for a post as an NFL on-air analyst.
In Instagram posts last weekend, Cutler and Cavallari (whose other TV credits include “The Hills”) revealed the news of the divorce:
‘‘With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,’’ they wrote in separate posts on their personal accounts. ‘‘We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.’’
According to the official divorce filings, Cavallari cites “irreconcilable differences” and notes Cutler “is guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.”
