Drive ’N Drag transforms Soldier Field lot into socially-distanced dance party: PHOTO GALLERY

The drive-in theater-like event at Soldier Field’s South parking lot showcases queens from various seasons of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

Some of the biggest names from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” were on hand Friday night at Soldier Field’s south lot for the opening of a three-day run of “Drive ’N Drag,” a special drive-in tour featuring everyone’s favorite drag queens from the hit series.

The show, which stars Gigi Goode, Jaida Essence Hall, Crystal Method, Yvie Oddly, Plastique Tiara, Asia O’Hara and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, is presented live while fans take in all the fun from the socially distanced safety of their cars and lawn chairs.

And it was nothing short of one sensational dance party — from the first fabulous moment when Goode stepped out of a black SUV in the middle of the lot, to the last moment with all the queens on stage together.

But nobody really stayed inside their cars or in their chairs, as the party vibe beckoned every mask-wearing fan to get up and socially distance dance.
