An interactive map of Chicago’s murals and mosaics

Chicago and the suburbs are home to hundreds of murals and mosaics. Take a virtual tour of the best of them here.

The Chicago Sun-Times has embarked on a project to capture, catalog and celebrate public art in the city and suburbs.

As part of that, we’ve created an interactive map with a selection of murals and mosaics in the region — a map that we’ll be adding to each week.

Each point on the map is clickable, with a photo, description and sometimes a link to a story about the mural. You can zoom in to focus on a particular neighborhood or suburb.
