Fox News is reportedly considering not renewing the contract of Sarah Palin, whose Republican National Convention appearances were cancelled — reportedly at the request of Mitt Romney.

PoliticusUSA reports the trouble started when Mitt Romney told Fox News to keep the “toxic” Palin off the air during the convention.

On Tuesday, Plain took to Facebook expressing her disappointment in having her scheduled interviews canceled – noting she especially wanted to highlight Sen. John McCain’s “positive contributions to America, according to Mediaite.

Fox News quickly responded with a statement claiming the stations plans changed when the convention was shortened from four nights to three.

New York Magazine reported Thursday latest dispute between Palin and Fox has caused the media outlet to reconsider renewing her $1 million-per-year contract when it expires in January.
