MILWAUKEE – Coach Tom Thibodeau promised help was on the way, and it came on Friday with the team announcing that they signed free agent forward Cartier Martin to a 10-day contract.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound Martin is in his sixth year in the NBA, playing for Charlotte, Golden State, Washington and the Atlanta Hawks.

In 25 games with Atlanta earlier this season, Martin averaged 6.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.
